Where are you standing?

I learned something very informative a couple of days ago. Now I walk this bridge darn near everyday… little did I know there were marks acknowledging where the “center” is… learning moment…

The first day I was just being silly. Here is the “fence”… can’t stay stuck there must pick. The Lord doesn’t want us cold or lukewarm..He desires for us to be all in, sold out for Him.

I went back up and got another pic… when I looked at it again I was reminded of the narrow path.

Both are choices, ways of life that require lifestyle changes to be sold out for Him… this is not easy. We are called to give up worldly for eternity. Now, in all honesty, in my mind I thought that meant I could not fall, I could not slip … I walked on eggshells to the point where I wasn’t really “living”, I was to afraid that if I weren’t perfect (hahaha) I was not going to make it to the finish line…

God does not call for perfection, He calls for love and relationship with us. He knows we are going to slip, fall, even face plant and I believe we beat ourselves up why worse than Our Daddy ever would… He wants us full of joy, living in the moment…with Him! Including Him in our choices… allowing Him to lead..

It’s hard to not be in control, to allow Him control… it’s harder crawling out of the pit our choices put us in when we exclude Him and go rogue…

I will never look at this area of the bridge the same again.. I pray every time I see it Father pulls me on tighter… my hearts desire is to be His hearts desire…
