Word Of The Year…

I cannot believe we have already blown through one month of this year already. Wow! Where has the time went? Is it just me or does it seem like our time is going by faster? Days shorter? Years flying by?

It brings me back to a very joy filled day last week. Our friend Fidel posted the picture of him alone with the question what made you happy today? I instantly knew it was having the honor of spending time in fellowship with these two amazing people! These two are part of my tribe, my frontline (part of my frontline) I am blessed to have many!

This was a day where we got to be creative in a completely judgement free zone. Nicole and I got the honor of doing a photo and video shoot for Fidel and what fun we had. The joy, the fellowship, the deep conversation… the realization that we cannot not be our Fathers child, His DNA is in us!!! Yes and Amen!!!

When we surround ourselves with like minded people who want to see us succeed, see our dreams come to fruition, who believes that without Him we have nothing… all blessings come from above including the people He puts in our lives. Whether for a season, a reason or a lifetime. Well, life gets better. When kingdom minded people come together for the greater good greater things happen… for everyone. I am not saying by any means I / we are up here all better than anyone else because I follow Jesus, no! I fall short every single day! I am a sinner saved by Grace multiple times a day. I am saying I choose to be real and vulnerable about my shortcomings with my people, heck even on here … I choose to be transparent. That is my word this year transparency.

When we are transparent, when I am transparent… living my life in such a visual open way it will not matter what people say about me because my actions will be a true testament to who I truly am. That, this is my hearts desire for this year. For my actions, my walk to speak louder than any accusations or words spoken about me. I am beyond blessed to be surrounded by an amazing tribe whom I can be raw, vulnerable and completely transparent with. A God given tribe who pray for me, pray with me, love on me, keep me accountable and drink tea with me😜

Our days are getting shorter, our time is getting shorter… surround yourself with people who edify you, lift you up, love on you and speak life into you. Find your tribe and live💗
